Secret Mission

Hello Friends!
My Design Team project for Marjorie Ann Designs
is this Army themed birthday invitation.

The Army tank used on this invitation is from the file called Proud To Serve: Army Proud
which can be found here at Marjorie Ann Designs

I used My Cricut Explore, and used the Print then cut feature to print the tank, and using the
writing feature in Design Space, I had my Cricut Explore write out the wording on the invite.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.
Happy Crafting!!

Let's Party!

Hello my friends! I am excited to announce that I am now a proud
member of the Brutus/Monroe Stamps Design Team! Here is my
first DT project!

I will share with you how the card was made. Just follow along for step by step instructions

The stamp used for this card is Let's Celebrate
I stamped the image onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento ink "Tuxedo Black".

After cutting the image out by hand, I colored it using
Spectrum Noir Markers PP1 and PP5 with a shading technique.

Then used the shading technique on the icing. The colors used for this are
LV1, LV2 and PL4.

Spectrum Noir colors used to color the "8" candle are
LV1, BT4, FL2 and CT4.

I used White cardstock for the card base (4"x 5.5") and for the background paper I used
Watercolor Dots by Recollections.

Using a white and green ribbon, I tied a band around the center of the background paper.
The background paper was cut at 3.75" x 5.25".

I then taped down the cake to the lower part of the card, and used some
pop dots to attach the "8" candle.

The stamps sets used for the net step are Let's Celebrate and Happy Birthday To You

I used Powder Puff "Very Berry" to ink the edges of this flag, and Spectrum Noir
PL1 and BT4 to color the letters.

I used Stampin' Up! Pink Pirouette to ink the edges of this flag.

I used Stampin' Up! Coastal Cabana to ink the edges around the card.
I rounded the corners of the flags and attached them to the card using pop dots.

Sprayed the card with a glitter spritz for that little extra sparkle!

I hope this card has inspired you to be creative. Thank so much for stopping by my blog!
