Butterfly Drink Coasters

Hello my crafty followers!
I am super excited to share with you a gift I made for
a friend! Shhhh, Don't tell her!

For this project I used the Butterfly Sentiments stamps set.
Brutus Monroe  Premium Chalk inks:
4X4 Ceramic Tiles
Heat gun
Oven

I started by stamping one color of the butterfly image at a time.

After each color, I used my heat gun to quick dry each color before
applying the next to avoid smudging.

I repeated the same technique using a second butterfly image.

I set them aside to dry on their own for approximately 2 hours. I then wanted
to permanently set the ink into the ceramic tile, so I baked them in my oven
at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Please use caution when removing them
from the oven!  After allowing them to cool completely, I tested them out
by hand washing them with a mild dish soap. Guess What? It's permanent!!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on Ceramic coasters.
I am simply amazed with the endless possibilites with these inks!!

Trimming The Christmas Tree

Hello my crafty friends!
Today I am sharing with you a Christmas card that I
made for my design team project for OAK Tree Stamps

The file I used was the All I Want For Christmas by OAK Tree Stamps

I created the card base in Design Space (DS). Window Sill image from Creative cards.
I added the window into DS and made a copy of it. Took one of them and hid the
contour for the 4 window panels. I then made a duplicate of that window and flipped it
to weld to the other to make the card base. I added a score line to the middle for folding.

I then stamped the image of the little boy using Memento Tuxedo black ink
and colored him using my Copic markers. I then cut him out by hand.

I hand cut the step stool and tree. I then glued all 3 pieces to the card base
before attaching the white window front panel.
I used a cuttlebug border embossing folder to add detail to the window.
Using dimensional foam adhesive squares, I attached the window to the from
of the card base.

This card brings back so many memories of my son at a very young age
helping me trim the tree. I just want to reach throuh the window and give him
a super big hug!!

Mummy Candy Bar Wrappers

 Good Morning my friends!!

I am here today with my design team project for
This sweet treat is sure to put a smile on your trick-or-treaters face!!

Today's project was made using Wickedly Cute Stamp Set by OAK Tree Stamps
Follow along to see how this Mummy Candy Bar Wrapper was made.

I selected my patterened paper from a halloween paper pack by The Paper Studio
For the Orange piece: I cut a piece that measured 6 x 5.25 inches
For the green piece: I cut a piece that measured 6 x 3 inches
I scored both at 1.5 inches, 2 inches, 4 inches and 4.5 inches.
(This may need adjusting depending on the candy bar used)

Next I stamped the images onto whisper white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black
I fussy cut the mummy and used a tag die for the sentiment, by Cuttlebug.
I colored the mummy using Spectrum Noir IB3, IG2, TN7 and Copic E21
For the tag, I inked the edges using Tangerine Tango by Stampin' Up!

I wrapped the candy bar with the pattered cardstock, and taped it closed using
double sided tape.

After gluing on the tag and Mummy, I finished off the project with some
black and white bakers twine.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial on this sweet treat! I hope it has inspired you
for for your halloween treats!
Thanks for stopping by,
Jen
